How to draw a meerkat- Class 4

As part of our final literacy unit we have been looking at the book Meerkat Mail by Emily Gravett. We have been writing postcards like those found in the book, have found out about the Kalahari Desert where the meerkats live and have enjoyed finding out where Sonny the meerkat will go next. The illustrations in the book are absolutely beautiful so we decided we would have to do an amazing effort for the front cover of the little books we are producing. We watched an instructional video on how to draw a meerkat and concentrated on drawing a step-by-step version. The children followed the instructions brilliantly and I am sure you will agree, the results are absolutely fantastic!! We will give you a sneak peek of them now!
