Holidays: Past and Present

In Year 2, we have been using different sources to find out more about what holidays were like in the 1950s and 1960s. We learnt all about Punch and Judy shows, different entertainment on the beaches and what holidays would look like back then. We then compared them with beach holidays in the modern day. We made comparisons and identified differences between holidays in the 1950s and today.

Today, we looked mostly at pictures with a few artefacts and souvenirs. Looking at multiple sources helped us find out more! Great discussion - well done Year 2.
