Getting emotional in Year 1!

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

As part of our work on Ourselves 1H have been thinking about emotions and what makes us feel certain ways. As a follow on from the homework we thought of lots of different emotions. We have created a pic collage of ourselves showing various emotions. Lots of us found looking angry quite tricky (Miss Humphreys was relieved!) We also think we look much better with happy faces than sad ones! We will be uploading the final collages on Monday but here are some of them for now! 

We've also discussed what we hope people would think of our class too. We thought of lots of different words that we could use to describe ourselves and all the things we hope to be. We worked in pairs and wrote down the words we thought of. The words that are said more often are bigger on our tag cloud. We have put a copy on display in our classroom to remind ourselves just how lovely we are!
