CLASS 4J- 2D SHAPE WORK

Pupils in Class 4J have continued their study of 2D shapes this week. They have consolidated their work on general regular a regular polygons from last week, and begun to explore quadrilaterals. The children enjoyed a number of practical activities including using geostrip to create as many different quadrilaterals, folding shapes to identify lines of symmetry. Additionally, the children then went on to looking at classifying and grouping 2D shapes using Venn and Carroll Diagrams. A thoroughly enjoyable week of maths!
