Firefighters visit R1

R1 had a wonderful time this morning when Wilmslow Fire service came to visit. The firefighters talked to the children all about what firefighters do and some children tried on the protective clothing that they wear when they fight fire. We also learnt all about the different parts of the fire engine and the different jobs they do. The children particularly liked climbing onto the fire engine to explore the inside.
