Fire Service visit to R1
Class: R1 Year: 2024 - 2025
As part of our continued learning about 'people who help us' the fire service have visited us today to teach us all about the different jobs they do, along with how to stay safe around fire, and in particular fireworks.
We were able to look around and sit on the fire engine, fire the hose and wear a fire helmet.
The children were taught the 'stop, drop and roll' rule and also to ask about fire alarms in their home.
