Year 2 have been working hard during their Steps to Read sessions. This half term, we have been looking at fiction and non-fiction texts about oceans and sea life animals, which has linked perfectly with our English writing. We have learnt about jellyfish, sharks... even crabs and lobsters. This week we have been focusing on retrieval questions, using our fastest fingers. Working with our partner, we had to find the evidence in the text and explain our answer to our partner, using the evidence and key vocabulary to support our thinking.
