Fairytales

This week we have begun our new topic all about fairytales. We have been reading the story of Jack and the Beanstalk and the children have ordered and retold the story using pictures. They have also written words and sentences for different parts of the story. We have also been creating pictures of fairytale castles using 2D shapes. The children have recognised how many circles, triangles, squares and rectangles they have used. Some children have been getting very creative with our blocks and have begun to build their own castles. A great start to our new topic.
