Exploring 2D shapes

4H have been working very hard on exploring the properties of 2D shapes. Who knew there was so much different vocabulary to get to grips with?! Obtuse, acute, reflex and right angles, irregular and regular polygons, symmetry, parallel and perpendicular lines have all been discussed and that’s before we even got onto quadrilaterals!! We have enjoyed the practical elements of shapes and today were great at identifying how we could classify and sort our shapes into Venn and Carroll diagrams. Well done 4H- shape superstars!
