Lesson: Design and technology

Well done to all of 1C for creating their fantastic Halloween Bunting! 

We worked hard to complete the excellent flags. 

First, we created our designs choosing different patterns and colours, next we picked our final design. We then learnt  running stitch to sew the fabric together, this was one of the trickiest jobs because the fabric was very thick, but we kept persevering until we completed it.

Once our fabric was ready it was time to cut some spooky shapes. We traced and cut templates such as witch’s hats and pumpkins. Our next task was to use the glue guns to stick these to the fabric. We had to ask the teachers to help, as we needed to be safe. At the end of the process we evaluated our work choosing two stars and a wish. 

We are all very proud of the results, have a look at the whole process and the brilliant results!
