DT Week Planning and Researching

R2 have really enjoyed DT week this week. They have learnt all about what DT is, learning about how things are made and then have begun designing and making things themselves. They have planned and designed their own Snowman Sculpture decorations. They learnt all about a famous Sculpture Artist, Subodh Gupta and chose some of their favourite sculptures that he has created. The children have created their own snowman design pictures using a range of resources. They have also investigated different ways of creating 3D snowman scuptures using paper, play dough and clay. They are very excited to create their final snowman decoration.
