DT Week in EYFS

For our Christmas themed DT week Reception have been making a Snowman decoration. 

We began the week thinking about what decorations we have around our homes for Christmas and why we have them? We then made a plan to make a Snowman decoration thinking about what materials and resources we would need and why.

After reviewing our work as we went we realised that using paper mache would not be the best method as it would take too long and wouldn’t be ready to take home for Christmas. So we edited our plan and decided that polystyrene balls glued together would be better.

The children have done a super job so far and we can’t wait for you to see the finished products!
