D&T week- Moving pictures

Lesson: Design and technology

We have had an amazing Desing and Technology week in 1A. We started the week off evaluating existing moving books and pictures and discussing the mechanisms found within them. We then practised our own sliders, levers and wheel mechanisms to use in our final products. 

We were phoned by Penguin Books who gave us a detailed design brief. We followed this in order to design our own moving picture books. After we had finished making our products we evaluated them and discussed what worked well and why we would change something next time.
