Dips and Dippers Day Two
Lesson: Design and technology
Today we started planning what we would like to put into our dip and how we would like it to look. The children designed their own packaging on a design sheet before they started creating it.
Once they had finished planning, we started the process of making our dips! The children learnt about food hygiene hygiene and how to handle the equipment safely before they started chopping and preparing the ingredients. Once they were finished, they tasted their dip and made any adjustments they thought necessary.
