Dinosuar Egg Detectives!

We had a surprise this morning when we arrived in school and it was not what we expected for a Monday morning... as it was three dinsoaur eggs!!!

After Mr Myers informed us he thought he has spotted something unusual from his classroom window we decided to go on a hunt and find out what had been left in the bushes. It didn't take us long to find them as we realised they looked very different to the eggs we are used to eating at home-  and we don't normally find giant eggs next to the daffodils and trees!

We carefully brought the eggs back in to care for them and discussed how we could do this, along with what other living things hatch from eggs. For our 'Ready Steady Write challenge' we then independently wrote lists of the different living things which hatch from eggs.

I wonder what fun we will have with the baby dinosaurs when they do hatch...
