Dinosaur Visit and Fossil Workshop

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

We have had a fantastic morning in Key Stage 1, starting with a visit from 3 dinosaurs. We got to ask questions to find out more about each dinosaur, for example what they like to eat and how big they grow to. We found out whether they were herbivores or carnivores.

Later on in our workshop, we became palaeontologists and uncovered different fossils to find out more about different dinosaurs and extinct creatures.
