Crashing into our new space topic - 1H

Lesson: Literacy

What an exciting day we have had today. 1H couldn't believe it when Miss Humphreys explained the spaceship she had seen in the school field when she arrived at school. We discussed what we thought it might be and concluded that an alien had visited Lacey Green. The children did some fantastic writing explaining what they thought might have happened, what the alien might look like and what he might be doing here. We also thought that he must be nice to have ended up at Lacey Green! By the time we were brave enough to go look it had already vanished!

We then began our plans this afternoon for our DT of making rockets out of junk materials, a big thank you for all you have sent in for us.
