Clay Day

Lesson: Art and design

This week we have been exploring clay in our art lessons. 

We have investigated the work of Henry Moore and discussed his sculptures. 

Over the last 2 days we have become sculptors and experimented with clay and tools to achieve different textures and patterns.

First of all we made tiles to show the different effects we could create. During the 2nd day we designed and made clay animals using the techniques from the day before. 

We can't wait to take them home.
