Class 5J-Division

This week Class 5J enjoyed exploring division by representing calculations using Place Value grids and counters.

The process involved creating the dividend( the amount being divided) on the place value grid and then grouping each column using the known divisor. The grouping started with the largest place value column and left remainders which had to be exchanged.
