Class 4J - Geography

This week, we have begun our new Year 4 Geigraphy unit: Amazon and South America. As a starter, the children were asked to review what athe subject Georaphy is, and then recapped the continents if the world from Year 3. This was a good opportunity to review their knowledge.

Then, the children began to consider the difference between Physical and Human features within Geography. The children were asked to sort different images of these into the two categories. Following on, the children then discussed a number of different geographical terminology including hemisphere, climate, equatorial and related these to the world map and South America.
