Class 4J- English (Writing)

This half term, Year 4 pupils are using the vehicle text entitled 'The Whale' written by Ethan and Vita Murrow. This is a wordless picture book full of dramatic black and white illustrations.

During the first session, the children were provided with a set of clues hidden under a blanket. The children were asked to slowly reveal the clues and predict the theme of the book as well as possible story lines. Lots of super discussion!
