CLASS 4J- DESIGN TECHNOLOGY
This week, as part of our Healthy Lifestyle theme week, the children have begun to explore and develop an understanding of seasonality, and to know where and how a variety of ingredients are grown, reared caught and processed.
The children discussed a range of different food types and particularly focused upon fruit and vegetables.as part of this, the children were asked to research as to where different fruit and vegetables are originally grown and produced.they were then asked to group these into the following catergories: grown in the UK; grown abroad.
Once they had discovered their origins, they were asked to plot labels of the different food types and where they are grown onto a world map.
The children worked on the above tasks in small groups and were super working together in teams. Well done!
