Class 4J Science

In Science this week, we continued our work on understanding how to group and classify animals using classification keys. The first activity they were involved in was to group the animals according to BRAMF- Whether it was a bird, reptile, amphibian, mammal or fish. The children enjoyed the interactive BRAMF song and grouped the animals using their understanding and knowledge of the features of each. Some animals/ creatures did not fit into these groups and were then classified as insects.
