Unit 1: Amazon, rivers and rainforests

During this weeek's lesson, the pupils in Year 4 were asked to consider and answer the following key question: Which animals live in a tropical rainforest?

The children revised their previous knowledge and learning and recapped the four layers of a tropical rainforest and the conditions within each of these.

The children learnt about the wide variety of different species of plants and animals, which create the high biodiversity in tropical rainforests.
