Class 4J - Maths

As part of their geometrical knowledge, the pupils in Year 4 have been getting to know some newer 2D shapes, namely quadrilaterals. They revised the properties and features of some well known 2D shapes, and then moved onto specific quadrilaterals including : rectangles, squares, parallelogram, rhombus, trapezium and a kite.

After discussing and identifying their features, the children were challenged to make as many different quadrilaterals using the Geoboard app and pin board grids.
