Class 4J - Music

This week, the pupils in Class 4J tried out their compositional skills by examining the familiar piece Freire Jacques. They discovered that if they counted the syllables of the lyrics within the original piece, then they could use this structure to help them compose their own words. 

They worked on this in pairs and then were asked if they would like to sing them. They were very good, with most being very successful. Next week, we will practise these by adding in their chordal accompaniment using the ukuleles.
