Equivalent Fractions

This first week back after the Easter holidays, involved the children in Mrs Jones' maths group reviewing their knowledge of fractions including improper and mixed numbers. 

Following on from this revision of work, the children went on to discuss and check their understanding of equivalent fractions. The children explored equivalent fractions by creating these practically using cuisainnaire rods.
