Coronation Celebration Day

Today, the children celebrated the forthcoming coronation of King Charles III. The children started the celebrations by guessing the names of the key members of the Royal Family. Following on from this they watched a video which explained the coronation and what will happen in the day. At lunchtime the children enjoyed joining the rest of the school, for a special picnic outside before starting a range of coronation themed games. During this time, the King and Queen popped in for a short visit! Quite a surprise! The children also enjoyed hearing the pieces played by a brass quintet who attended the afternoon celebrations.

It was a lovely day enjoyed by everyone involved. Thank you all school Parliament members and Ms Bacon for organising.
