Class 4J Maths - Multiplication

Today, pupils in Class 4J really got to grips with understanding what multiplication truly is. They explored the vocabulary relating to multiplication and then used multi link to demonstrate multiplication calculations. The children began to understand that even though multipication is communicative, there is a mathematical difference between 4 x 6 and 6 x 4. They had to represent multiplication calculations using  multi link.
