CLASS 4J- Numeracy.

This week the children have been getting to grips with different methods for finding the difference between 3 and 4 digit numbers. They have been practising using formal written calculation methods as well as practising their inverse checks. Some children also practised estimating their answers before working out the answers. They also enjoyed using counters and the place value grid to help them understanding exchanging (regrouping).
