CLASS 4J

Today, Class 4J began their first writing unit. They started by discussing and engaging with a number of pictures of famous lions including ‘Simba’ from the Lion King and the ‘Cowardly Lion’ from The Wizard of Oz. They matched up names, pictures and also text summaries, and discussed stories they knew involving lions. We also discussed some unfamiliar vocabulary included within the short paragraphs. Tomorrow we will use the above discussions to predict the book we will use as a stimulus for our writing.
