Class 4J -Religious Education

During the past two days, the pupils in Year 4 have been studying the first of the units relating to Judaism.

The children have enjoyed learning about how Judaism was founded and about Moses and the flight of the Israelites out of a Egypt and the 10 Plagues. They also learnt about the Ten Commandments as well as learning about some of the daily rituals and practices of those who practise the Jewish faith.

As part of their studies, we invited Ms Berger to share with us, via Google Meet, some of the important items she uses in her daily worship. She explained what the artefacts were and she used them at home.

The children really enjoyed learning about our introduction to Judaism and reflecting upon their own beliefs and thoughts regarding faith and God.
