Class 4J - identifying excellent vocabulary for writing

This week Class 4J have begun preparations for their next writing unit of work based upon the boot entitled 'Ape' written by Martin Jenkins. The children started with an engagement task where they had to match up labels and pictures of very obscure types fruit including the durian.

Following on from this, the children began to read a number of animal fact files and extracted excellent vocabulary, phrases and short clauses that they might be Ble to use within their writing.
