CLASS 4J -HISTORY I-PAD PROJECT

THE FIRE OF LONDON & THE GREAT PLAGUE

The pupils in class 4J have been studying the Fire of London and the Plague this half term. They have thoroughly enjoyed researching about theses great British historical events. Following some detailed research and note taking, the children have begun planning TV news reports which they are going to create using I-pads. The children spent time drafting and improving their script and planning props and costumes appropriate to the era. 

Following this, the children were shown how to use the DV Prompter APP and then they typed up their scripts ready for rehearsals. Once this had been completed, they were introduced to the Green Screen APP. They selected appropriate backgrounds and backdrops for their live TV reports. The children had lots of fun trying out the Green Screens in school.
