CLASS 4J SOUND MUFFLING EXPERIMENT

Children were asked to plan out together as a class an investigation to find out which material was the best for muffling sound. The children were asked to think about soundproofing inside and outside. They had to consider how to measure sounds in terms of volume. Following lots of discussion regarding fair testing, the children set to investigating 5 materials in total.
