Christingle

Lesson: Religious education

We have had two lovely Christingle services at St. Bart's church this week to begin our Christmas celebrations. Year 2 read their winter poems and prayers beautifully to the audience. We sang and danced to winter songs such as 'Jack Frost' and 'Marching in the Snow'. We finished the celebration by lighting our Christingles and singing 'Away in a Manger'. All of Key Stage 1 were a credit to the school and local community.
