Chinese New Year in R1 & R2 for DT Week

To end a week full of great DT activities reception have been learning all about Chinese New Year including the traditions and customs and most importantly which Chinese zodiac animal the teachers and they are! Can you guess who was a dragon, tiger, dog or snake out of us all...

The children made drums and lanterns, practised how to say ‘Good morning’ and ‘hello’ in Chinese and also had a go at writing their names in Chinese. Happy Chinese New Year!
