Caterpillars, planting, library and addition in R2

We have had a busy this week filled with lots of learning. After receiving a very exciting parcel filled with caterpilars we first learnt all about different insects and their habitats and then about plants and flowers. The children then helped to brighten up our outdoor space by planting butterfly and bee friendly flowers.

In maths we practised our addition skills to 5 by using counters to show the different way to make 5 and then recording as a number sentence. To complete a busy week we also visited our school library and shared our books with each other.

A great and busy week ready for a long weekend in the sun!
