Aliens in Space (and R2!)

This half term the topic for reception is 'Aliens in Space!' and this topic has already shown to be lots of fun for the children (and adults!). The children have listened to a range of fiction and non fiction books within literacy, used 2D and 3D shapes to make rockets in maths, learnt new techniques in art to make aliens, spacehips and planets, pretended to be astronauts within PE - and that was just in the first 2 weeks!

Although we are only 2 weeks into our topic the children have wowed us with their enthusiasm, amazing art work and hard work in literacy and maths, and I'm sure there is much more to come from them! I hope the pictures in this gallery wow you just as much as they have wowed us!

Please also feel free to send in any work or books from home your child would like to share with their class friends based around our topic.
