Royal writing & Number bonds to 10

This week reception have been busy bees!

The Queen's Hat by Steve Anthony has been our book focus this week which has helped us to learn the London landmarks along with some lovely story language ahead of our own book creations next week. We have also thought about what it would be like if we were Kings and Queens for the day and wrote down what we would do for the day if we were!

Within maths we have been learning our number bonds to ten using numicon and recording the different ways. 

Squeezed around English and Maths we have also cared for our beanstalks, created portraits of the Queen and painted daffodils using watercolours. What a week reception - well done!
