A Gruffalo. What’s a Gruffalo?

Lesson: EYFS

For our story focus these past two weeks reception have been looking closely at the story of The Gruffalo. 

We have read the story and looked closely at the illustrations which has helped us to label the Gruffalo using descriptive language from the story. In a Maths we having been finding different ways of making 5 using the characters from the story to help. Within our child initiated activities the children have made their own Gruffalo’s again thinking about the descriptive language from the story. 

After all this hard work we definitely know what a Gruffalo is now!
