A fantastic performance from our hockey team!

Our newly established Year 5 and 6 hockey team travelled down the road to the Edge hockey centre on Wednesday morning to compete against other schools from the Macclesfield area. 

We were focused right from the warm up. We played a fast paced possession game to prepare us for the tournament. 

Our first game was a friendly against Alderley Edge School for Girls. We then went on to play Upton Priory and Gorsey Bank, where we narrowly lost, 1-0 and 2-1. We came out as champions from our final game against Alderley Edge School for Girls, winning convincingly 2-0. Although we didn't make it through to the final, we came third in our group and our performance improved throughout the competition.
