6M Welcome ‘back’ to the Summer Term
Welcome back Year 6.
We hope that you have all enjoyed the Easter break under these unusual circumstances. We are sure that you have found new and adventurous ways to entertain yourselves in the confinements of your homes and gardens. Fortunately, the weather has been lovely most of the time.
We are delighted to be back with you and all learning together. It is our intention that we continue on our learning journey and to this end, we will be assigning daily tasks for you to complete.
You will, by now, have received information about our new learning platform – Google Classroom. Here, you will be able to access the work that has been sent and communicate with ourselves should you need to. • Week 3 - Subjunctive (Letter)
Maths – 3 weeks
Week 1 - Angles
Week 2 and 3 - Position and Movement (including co-ordinates and translations)

• Geography – Protecting the Environment
• RE - Islam
We will of course be adding in other subjects such as art and MFL as appropriate. You will note, from our scheduling dates for work to be completed, that we have built in flexibility for when you tackle each assignment.
We are endeavouring to keep the learning relevant to this time in the academic year and to keep the sequence of lessons progressive. We know that this is far from normal and we fully appreciate the efforts that are being made at home to support each other in making this the very best learning experience possible for our children.
