Lesson: Maths

As a school we have developed the way we teach maths to encourage mastery. Lots of the techniques are based on how mathematics is taught in east Asia. These include lots of practical and visual representations, developing number facts knowledge, opportunities to engage in problem solving and same day interventions for children needing a little extra input. Here are a few examples of work we have been doing on understanding large numbers.
