4Z Coronation Day

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

We loved the variety of activities on offer throughout our coronation day celebration. We tested our knowledge on members of the royal family and their lineage, watched an informative video about the coronation itself and worked hard to understand what would be happening on the day itself. 

In the afternoon, we enjoyed our coronation picnic outside (despite the blowing gale!) followed by a multitude of royal themed games and activities. a great time was had by all involved! 

The children also had the opportunity to showcase their creative skills with their homework following the coronation celebration and created some fabulous collage portraits of the new King Charles III. Well done everyone!
