4J - Teeth investigation

Lesson: Science

As part of our Science year 4 investigated if eating and drinking can damage our teeth.
As eggshells are made from a hard substance that is very similar to the material that makes our teeth we placed some eggs in a variety of liquids to see which one would damage the eggs the most.

When we placed the eggs into each liquid we made our predictions as to which one would cause the most damage and why?

We will be observing the eggs this week and writing down any observations and conclusions that we make.
