Lesson: Physical education

Year 4 have really enjoyed the start to their P.E lessons this year covering both football and netball in each of the classes. In netball we are starting by looking at the basic skills needed to play netball successfully and have practised different types of throw and the very important skill of communicating with each other whilst playing. We also played 'Piggy in the middle' last week and this week, our new favourite game, 'Get on the bench' to give us chance to practise our throwing and catching skills as well as defending.
