3Z explore Kennings

We had a most enjoyable National Poetry Day today. The children explored a variety of Kennings and enjoyed practising some ideas of their own. The theme this year was 'refuge' so the children were describing the creature that the villagers need to seek refuge from, based on our current English text, 'The Iron Man'.
