3W - Any old iron?

Year 3W began a new unit of writing this week.

The children were faced with a mysterious collection of objects at the beginning of the week and asked for their thoughts. They then analysed a series of illustrations. 

The children were introduced to The Iron Man by Ted Hughes and listened to the text before beginning to discuss the vocabulary used and it's effect on the reader.
