2H visit to Lower Moss Nature Reserve

Last week we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Lower Moss. We had Ray the ranger as our guide and it was fantastic to hear all his experience and stories as he shared stories of the woods. We talked about the animals and the plants found in the wood and then after lunch it was time for Pond Dipping. The children loved exploring the water with their nets and collecting trays and followed keys to identify the different types of water insects that they found. What a great day we had!
